    Founder | Interior Architect

    Born in the US and shaped by the vibrant cultures of LA, Athens, and London, Mia’s design philosophy is as global as her upbringing. With an education rooted in Athens and crowned with a degree in Interior Architecture from the University of the Arts, London, Mia boasts a cosmopolitan flair that resonates in each project she touches.

    Celebrating over 15 years in the high-end residential industry, Mia's portfolio is an ensemble of award-winning designs spanning luxe residences to majestic yachts across continents. Her designs don't just occupy space—they narrate tales of beauty, serenity, and intrigue, intricately tailored to resonate with the individual. Mia's signature style is a harmonious blend of poised elegance, underlined by neutral palettes, and punctuated with bursts of warmth and opulence.

    But beyond the sketches and swatches, Mia's true essence as a designer emerges on site. Be it liaising with contractors, donning a hard hat, giving the nod to artisanal commissions, or ensuring every detail aligns with her vision of perfection, Mia is hands-on, ensuring that her design transitions flawlessly from vision to reality.

    While Mia’s heart beats in lines and layouts, she’s equally passionate about the relationships she builds. The business and client interactions of design invigorate her. Her international lineage, coupled with a tapestry of high-profile connections, equips her to effortlessly sync with clients, both national and international, translating their dreams into tangible, high-end residential and commercial masterpieces.

  • SIGFRIED LEGEAY

    Co-Founder | CFO

    With a robust 15-year tenure in the financial markets, Sigfried's journey has been anything but ordinary. Before taking the entrepreneurial leap with Studio Miaki, Sigfried was a master of trades, quite literally. As an EQF/FX trader at the prestigious European bank, BNP Paribas, until 2016, he honed his financial acumen amidst the fast-paced and high-stakes world of banking. His expertise only deepened with key trading roles at exclusive proprietary trading boutiques nestled in the heart of London.

    But as the adage goes, change is the only constant. For Sigfried, this change materialized in a shift from finance to the artistic realm of interiors. Joining forces with his life partner, he co-founded Studio Miaki, seamlessly merging his extensive business and financial knowledge with the world of design. Today, while the canvases have changed from trading screens to elegant interiors, Sigfried's commitment to excellence and strategic foresight remains unwavering, guiding Studio Miaki to new horizons.

  • ALICE ALDOUS

    Associate Designer

    Born into an artistic household in London, Alice sought a career that would encompass several creative disciplines. She obtained her degree at Camberwell College of Arts before studying Interior Design at Chelsea College of Arts.

    Alice commenced her career in Interior Design at Architecture Practices, including 8 years at renowned practice Squire & Partners, where she was promoted to Associate in 2021. During her tenure, she worked on award winning projects within the workplace, residential and hospitality sectors in the UK and Middle East. Alice’s diverse portfolio gives her a comprehensive perspective and discerning eye for detail.

    Her innate understanding and immersion in art, furniture and fabrics means she delights in discovering the craftmanship of different artisans and collaborating with them to create luxury interiors that fuse character and flair.

    Alice values the full scope of different design styles and recognises the importance of treating each project individually, sourcing the most suitable materials and furniture to transform the space. She approaches each private residential project with an open mind, thoughtfully and sensitively guiding her clients throughout the process to create soulful homes with longevity.

  • ADELA LOKAJ

    Associate Designer

    Having obtained an Architecture degree from the School of Architecture at The University of Portsmouth, Adela started her journey within interior design by working on residential refurbishments for private clients within prime-central London and the Home Counties, where she was able to put into use her technical skillset, whilst allowing for her love of interiors to further blossom.

    Delving further into interior design, Adela has since worked on a large number of design projects, these include private residential design, bespoke show home design, and multi-unit design for well-known property developers.

    Adela’s experience has given her strength in many aspects, including her calm approach to design, meticulous attention to detail, and consideration for the client at the forefront of all her projects. She enjoys creating luxurious and comfortable environments, playing on materiality and textile combinations, along with influences from her love of many interior styles to help create unique and timeless designs.

  • HOLLY CLOTHIER

    Senior Interior Architect

    Whilst studying Interior Architecture at Northumbria University, it quickly became apparent that Holly’s main passion lies within the residential design sector. Loving the challenge of creating a beautifully personal space for the individual client as well as being practical for everyday tasks, she approaches each creative and problem-solving project with a methodology and mindset focused on creating homes that will be loved for years to come.

    With over 12 years of experience in the industry, she has worked on various projects around the world, from a luxury multi-unit development in Dubai, and large-scale family estates in the British Countryside, to high-spec homes and penthouses in central London.

    Holly excels at the technical stage of a project where she brings practical knowledge and an eye for detail to ensure that every aspect is thoughtfully considered and meticulously detailed to create harmonious and seamless interiors and homes.

  • ANDREW MARTIN

    Interior Architect & Designer

    Andrew is a multidisciplinary Designer, having covered various roles within the industry as a Project Manager, Technical Designer, Architectural Designer & Interior Architect.

    After the first four years of his career as a project manager, Andrew knew his true passion lay between the lines. He returned to university and obtained a degree in Interior Architecture & Design and has since worked alongside well established Architects, Designers, Project Managers and leading industry professionals who are changing the way in which we design for the future.

    With almost nine years of industry experience, he has tackled various projects around the world from residential renovations in the Hollywood Hills, multi-unit developments in New York’s, Hudson Yard. Members clubs and hotels across Eastern Asia, the Middle East and London, to high-end residential renovations and developments across London and the UK.

    Andrew has a true passion for renovation projects, for the re-use of existing buildings and to re-purpose those that are either vacant or are no longer serving the purpose that they once did. He believes sustainability and repurposing are two of the most important factors, and ones that will advance new movements within design.

  • RIJA AHMED

    Interior Designer

    Born in Pakistan, Rija attended the University of Westminster, UK for Interior Architecture (BA Hons) before rounding off her education with a Masters in Interior Design.

    Since graduating, Rija has had the privilege to work with a vast range of well-known interior design studios, including the award-winning 1508 London and HBA Residential; working on some of London’s most iconic developments as well as on London’s most prestigious residential postcodes.

    Through her years in the industry, Rija has developed a passion for FF&E and enjoys sourcing unique pieces that develop exceptional interior schemes. Her strong interest is in finding new artisans with the purpose to bring authenticity to each project.

    Rija aims to ensure the final vision encompasses a reflection of the client’s lifestyle whilst cherishing elegance and a timeless shine. She has the ability to pay attention to every detail of a project, resulting in providing a client a house turned into a beautiful home with personality and functionality.

  • KALLIOPE NEDOU

    Interior Designer

    After completing her degree in Design & Interior Architecture in Greece, Kalliopi worked in a number of interior design firms and architectural companies before moving to London. Working at Harrods, the world’s leading luxury department store, in a client-facing role, she gained critical experience on delivering incredible customer service and understanding different cultures. Her interest in furniture allowed her to work on high-end furniture company where she naturally built strong relationships with her clients and completed multiple residential projects. Later on, she moved on to the trade part of the business where she worked closely with developers designing and giving character to new builds properties.

    For Kalliopi, communication and kindness are the most important narratives to success. Asking the right questions and engaging with her clients to incorporate their stories and lifestyles into their home. Kalliopi’s aesthetic combines contemporary design with traditional elements, trying to create a soulful and emotional feeling in each space. Her passion for mid-century, antique furniture, and art drove her to start collecting her own pieces.

  • LUCY CLEMENTS

    Interior Designer

    Having graduated from KLC, Lucy grew up between Washington DC, the Cotswolds, and Dubai. She has recently started her journey in the world of Interiors and is constantly developing her knowledge, experience, and individual style.

    She has a strong appreciation for the role of light and texture and how they create a balance between function and aesthetics within a space as well as the psychology of how we interact with a space. She is particularly inspired by modern Parisian architecture and has a deep appreciation for Australian and American styles.

    She is an avid travel enthusiast, as she believes that in-depth exploration of a destination contributes to her depth of inspiration of design styles and visual experiences.

  • TALLULAH ELISE CHARALAMBOUS

    Assistant Designer

    She infuses her interior designs with a love for art, culture, and texture, alongside her deep reverence for Neo-Classical architecture. Despite being new to Studio Miaki, Tallulah enters the realm of interior design with grace and confidence, bolstered by her recent graduation in interior architecture. Her approach to design is distinguished by a meticulous attention to detail, consistently upholding the highest quality standards which is proven in her collaborative work on projects thus far.
